Returns: If for any reason you decide to return the item, you have up to 10 days from the time of delivery to request a return. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Please use Apollo's Returns Portal to initiate the return.

Exchanges: If you are looking to exchange your item, please use Apollo's Return Portal to initiate the exchange within 10 days of delivery. Exchange shipping costs will be calculated at the time of the exchange in our Returns Portal. The Seller will cover the shipping costs for the replacement product. When processing an exchange, our Returns Portal only permits exchanges for the same item at the same price but in a different variant (e.g.: exchanging the same shirt in size Medium for a size Large). The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

In 1979, on the slopes of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, ski patroller Tom Kullen began hand-sewing rugged, practical gear to meet the demands of life in the mountains. His first creations—a radio chest pack and ski patrol waist pack—were born not from trend, but from necessity. Crafted in his garage on Bryan Avenue in Salt Lake City, these early designs were the beginning of what would become Lone Peak Packs.

Lone Peak’s ethos was clear from the start: build dependable gear for people who rely on it.

As the cycling boom of the late ’70s and early ’80s took hold, Lone Peak expanded into panniers, seat packs, and soft goods for long-haul bike touring. At a time when being a cyclist meant carrying everything you needed for the journey, Lone Peak helped make that journey possible, providing American-made durability and thoughtful design for riders who didn’t stop when the road did.

The company changed hands and zip codes over the years, but one thing never changed: its commitment to quality, purpose-built gear, made right here in the USA. In 2012, the business moved to Marysville, Washington, under the ownership of Gary Hubbert, a longtime employee and passionate cyclist. He kept the sewing machines running and the legacy alive, proudly stating that Lone Peak “never left the U.S.” even during the height of offshoring and cheap imports.

In 2024, a new chapter began. The company was purchased by an outdoor-obsessed, gear-loving family man with 15 years of digital marketing experience for retailers like Nike, REI, Columbia, and The North Face. A lifelong fly fisherman and self-proclaimed gear nerd, our new owner didn’t just see Lone Peak as a business—he saw it as a way to continue the legacy of American-made craftsmanship, honest gear, and life outside.

Today, Lone Peak Packs is still a small, family-run company based in the Pacific Northwest. We still design and sew our products by hand. We still believe that gear should last, function with purpose, and carry your story, not just your stuff.

We design chest packs and carry systems for the people who need their gear to work—first responders, warehouse operators, utility crews, construction teams, and field techs who rely on radios every day. Our packs keep essentials close, accessible, and secure—no matter the conditions.

We haven’t forgotten our roots, either. From long-haul bike tours to daily commutes, we still make rugged cycling gear for riders who carry it all.
