How to Use

Shampoo: Lather in hands, apply to wet hair, let sit, rinse with warm water and follow with the Dr. Watson’s Conditioner best suited for your hair.

Everyday Conditioner: Apply to wet hair after shampooing, let sit, rinse with warm water. Precede with Dr. Watson’s Shampoo.

Damages/issues: For any item(s) received damaged or incorrectly, we will replace that item free of charge within 30 days of delivery. For your convenience, there is no need to return the original damaged or incorrectly shipped item; you may safely dispose of it once you've received approval from our team. When requesting the approval through the Returns Portal, please include photos of the item and of the packaging material. Please use Apollo's Return Portal to initiate the return process. When your order arrives, it's important to check it thoroughly. If you notice any defects, damages, or receive the wrong item, we urge you to use Apollo's Return Portal or contact us atsupport@apollolanding.com. We will investigate the issue promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure your satisfaction.

Returns: If for any reason you decide to return the item, you have up to 30 days from the time of delivery to request a return. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Please use Apollo's Returns Portal to initiate the return.

Exchanges: Currently, we do not offer an exchange option. If you would like a different item, you can return the product within our Returns Portal and place a new order for your desired replacement. A refund will be issued once we receive the returned product. The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unopened and unused, and in its original packaging.

Our Story

It began with a mission

To create products with clean safe ingredients to give people brilliant hair and skin.

Named after one of the Founders, Dr. Watson's products are manufactured by Vanadis Labs. Vanadis was created with the vision of making hair, body and skin care products safer through enabling scientific testing.

FDA Contractor

Development of tests to detect harmful ingredients in cosmetics

In 2014 Vanadis Labs began working with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to develop tests that could determine if harmful latex antigenic proteins were present in several types of products found on the shelves of major retailers. These products included hair bond adhesives, eyelash adhesives, liquid eyeliners, hair replacement adhesives, face and body paints, and stage cosmetics.

Harmful allergenic proteins detected in 58 of 75 products identified by the FDA

After 6-months of product testing, the results were shocking. Over 75% of the products contained harmful antigenic latex proteins and several even made explicitly misleading claims of safety or being hypoallergenic.

After discovering the poor level of safety in the consumer marketplace, Vanadis Labs committed themselves to creating a line of products that would have clean ingredients and lived up to their claim of being safe. Vanadis Labs' mission evolved into Engineering Clean Hair Carethat NEVER contains paragons petrolatum, phthalates, sulfates, or latex. After working for 2 years and experimenting with over 300 different formulations, Dr. Watson's was born.
