WHY WE DO IT?

We are often asked why we started a dog toy business. It's a good question! It would have been much easier to keep our 9-5 jobs with a steady income, but we struggled to find high quality toys for our dogs and found ourselves asking why? Why are most dog toys made in China? Why are most dog toys poor quality and easily destroyed? Why can't manufacturers tell us whether the materials are safe for our dogs? Why are so many dog toys shaped like bones and paws. Do dogs really have a preference? Why aren't there more interesting designs? We started SodaPup to give people what they really wanted.... durable, high quality products that are made in the USA and safe for dogs. It turns out dog lovers also want fun and innovative and beautiful designs that make them smile. I guess you could say we make dog toys for people, and they work great for dogs!

We specialize in innovative, American made enrichment products and toys for dogs. All of our products are manufactured in the USA from FDA compliant materials that are safe for dogs to have in their mouths. Domestic manufacturing enables us to ensure the integrity of our materials, our process and ultimately our quality. Our products are built to last so that your hard-earned dollars go farther, even if you have a four legged toy destroyer in your life!

We understand that we live in a global economy, but we also believe that if our products can be made at home, then we should produce them here. Manufacturing overseas exploits cheap labor, lower environmental standards, and lax quality control. As a veteran-owned business we believe in keeping jobs in America. We believe it results in higher quality products that are produced ethically and responsibly.

SAFETY

Safety is our top concern and we have developed a range of materials that are FDA-compliant for food contact, are BPA and phthalate free, and meet Prop 65 standards. Our materials include Puppyprene natural rubber, PUP-X synthetic rubber, TPE synthetic rubber, Polypropylene, and nylon.

DURABILITY

Durability is our thing. We specialize in innovative toys for power chewers. We will replace any rubber toy within 30 days if your dog destroys it. Our rubber toys come in three compounds: Original for super chewers, Puppy for the tender mouths of teething pups, and Magnum, our signature black formula for dogs that destroy everything!

Nylon toys get worn down with use. This is normal wear and tear. However, if your dog breaks off a piece of a nylon toy we will replace it within 30 days of purchase.

Feeding products like lick mats, feeding trays and feeding bowls are not chew toys and are not covered by our replacement guarantee.

We believe in the power of design to improve our lives. We believe that every day objects, like dog toys and dog bowls, can be both fun and functional. They can be beautiful and durable. They can be whimsical and serious. With every product we make, we search for ways to improve them so that they work better for dogs and also create an emotional connection for our customers. By doing this we hope to create many happy dogs and equally happy customers.

GIVING BACK

It's a privilege to be living the "American Dream"; building a business, employing family, friends and community members and making a high quality product that we're proud of. We don't take it for granted. We do our best to give back to the communities where we do business. Primarily we donate products to dog-related charities that include shelters, Humane Societies and to Law Enforcement/Military/Working Dog Organizations through our Rescue2 program.
