Enjoy solving a unique handcrafted wooden puzzle that features your memories or artistic accomplishments! 

This Victorian style puzzle -- likely to be difficult -- is prepared with the same care as our heirloom puzzles but features your favorite photograph or artwork.  A custom puzzle is a great gift for the special people in your life.  The puzzle will include a label with your image and a reference image just like every other Perplexing Puzzle!  Just follow these simple steps:

• Select your image.  It can be a photograph or a digitized version of your own artwork.  Save the image in the highest resolution possible as it will be enlarged to the size of the puzzle you select.  .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf files are all acceptable.
• Review the collection of Victorian Style puzzles.  Each puzzle has a photograph of the completed puzzle that shows the whimsies and you can see the piece outlines.  Note the name of your favorite.
  
  What you would like as the puzzle name ("Dad & Timmy Fishing" or "Girl's Weekend Away" or "Baby's First Christmas").  This will be included on the label and the reference image.
  The name of the Perplexing Puzzle that you would like as the underlying piece layout and whimsy collections.
  Attach the file of your image.
  Ask any questions or make comments about anything you might like (well, concerning puzzles I suppose...).  I will be happy to answer your questions.
  
  
• Complete the order check-out and payment as for any other puzzle.

On receipt of your email and payment I will confirm your instructions and immediately proceed with making your puzzle.  You should expect to receive your puzzle within 4 - 6 weeks of my confirmation.

Note:  By placing the order of a custom puzzle, you affirm that you are the copyright holder or hold an appropriate license to use the image provided.  Perplexing Puzzles does not, and will, not accept any responsibility for improper use of copyrighted materials.

European Union 14 day cooling off period: If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages/issues: For any item(s) received damaged or incorrectly, we will replace that item free of charge within 30 days of the order. Please use Apollo's Return Portal to initiate the process. When your order arrives, it's important to check it thoroughly. If you notice any defects, damages, or receive the wrong item, we urge you to use Apollo's Return Portal or contact us at support@apollolanding.com immediately. We will investigate the issue promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure your satisfaction.

Returns: If for any reason you decide to return the item, you have up to 30 days from the time of purchase to request a free return. The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Please use Apollo's Returns Portal to initiate the return.

Exchanges: Currently, we do not offer an exchange option. If you would like a different item, you can return the product within our Returns Portal and place a new order for your desired replacement. A refund will be issued once we receive the returned product. The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unopened and unused, and in its original packaging.

Handling fee: We currently do not charge a handling fee

Refunds: You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 2-5 business days of the product being received at our warehouse. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

About Perplexing Puzzles!

Perplexing Puzzles started as an idea in my head during the fall 2019 as a gift idea for my spouse, Jill, who is an avid Puzzler. Working in a local maker space I discovered that the process was much harder than initially expected and my Christmas idea turned to Valentine's Day before my first suitable puzzle was created.

As it turns out, creating puzzles is as satisfying as solving them and so I continued to slowly grow the collection.  By spring of 2020 I had completed five puzzles and had opened an Etsy store when Covid hit. The next two years were a blur of time as I focused full time working with a company manufacturing Covid response supplies.  Perplexing Puzzles was put on hold until winter 2022.

After a move to North Carolina, we restarted Perplexing Puzzles in the spring of 2023 with new and more puzzles, brand new equipment and a new studio.  Jill has become an active participant in the business, and we are ready to go forward and challenge Puzzlers with delightful and entertaining puzzles of all skill levels.
