History: Wassail (Middle English 'wæs hæl' - ‘be you healthy’) refers both to the salute 'Waes Hail' and to the drink of wassail, a hot mulled cider drunk as part of wassailing, an English ritual intended to ensure a good apple harvest the following year. Historically, the drink is a mulled cider, mulled beer, or mead, made with sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg and topped with toast. A group then sings: “Old Apple tree, old apple tree, we've come to wassail thee, To bear and to bow apples enow, Hats full, caps full, three bushel bags full, Barn floors full and a little heap under the stairs.” Wine Spices Wassail Kit - Old English Recipe with Spice Bags Quantity: 3oz Spices - Brews 3 Gallons Contents: 3 Muslin Spice Bags with Drawstrings, Orange Peel, Ginger, Cinnamon, Allspice, Cloves For a Gallon Brew: Fill a pot with 1 gallon of red wine or port. History: Wassail (Middle English 'wæs hæl' - 'be you healthy') refers both to the salute 'Waes Hail' and to the drink of wassail, a hot mulled wine, or as mulled cider drunk as part of wassailing, an English ritual intended to ensure a good apple harvest the following year. Wassail began as a spiced wine that resembled Roman recipes that survived the Middle Ages. Recipes began to vary with English production of ale, mead, and cider.

Marketplace Policy
DELIVERY & SHIPPING
- Due to the nature of our marketplace and the majority of our products coming from independent sellers and vendors, each delivery window and shipping fee will vary from seller to seller. With this in mind, the below provides an average delivery time across the Apollo Marketplace.
- Continental U.S. delivery time - 2-5 days
- Canada delivery time - 7-10 days
- International delivery time - 7-14 business days
SHIPPING COSTS
Upon finalizing your purchase, the shipping fees are calculated by aggregating the individual rates set by each seller for their products. For instance, if one of your selected items has a shipping fee of $5 from Seller 1, and another item incurs a $6 charge from Seller 2, your combined shipping total at checkout will be $11. However, should your order from any individual seller meet their stipulated free shipping threshold, the shipping fee attributed to that seller's items will be waived, therefore reducing your overall shipping costs at the time of checkout.
RETURNS
Each seller and vendor has a unique policy as it pertains to their business and products. Because of this, each shipping and return policy will be mentioned under the Seller's Policy tab on the product page.
