Hand forging / hand fabrication is the process of forming a design by hammering with or without heat into a desired shape. This process is the rarest type of jewelry construction. It means taking a raw piece of cold rolled or sheets of precious metals, then hand cutting, hammering, and shaping the metal into the desired design. This process makes handmade jewelry almost 50% harder than cast jewelry.

• Cross is hand cut from a sheet of copper, then hand textured with a hammer to create the desired finish.
• Hand forged copper cross measures .75 width x 1.75 inches in length
• Each cross is unique and created one at a time.
• Ear wires are hand cut from a roll of 20-gauge sterling silver, .032 diameter wire, then hand forged into shape.
• Handcrafted ear wire design attaches copper cross with a secure closed loop.
• Copper cross and sterling silver ear wire become one unit.
• Finished earring length is 2.25 Inches.
• We use .935 and sterling silver on all silver components to ensure no skin irritation.
